Ugh, been having computer malfunctions lately and haven't been able to access this forum :( The computer gods seemed to be smiling on me now though and yay I managed to load this up. (please hurry up tax refund, I need a new laptop!)

Just thought I'd stick some updated photos of the girls up while they are reasonably fresh and clean.

We went to a retirement home yesterday with Jazz for one of our therapy visits and a meet the breed presentation done by the local kennel club. The first several photos are from that. Soooommebody (*cough cough, JOHN!!) sort of got distracted on photo duty and didn't get any pictures of her during the poodle portion of the presentation OR visiting with any of the residents after. He did however get a few photos of Nicholas showing Jazz off to a little girl he thought was pretty neat-o. Just like a boy to use a fluffy poodle to get a girls attention and then go crawling off in search of extra grandparents lol.
The rest of the photos are of the girls playing in the yard while John was working on a little chicken play area for our new friends. Saleen got her ears buzzed b/c now we have another ear infection. I tried that ear flushing thing and that was a bad bad bad idea. :( Bummer. Anyway, other than that we're all good :) When the darn weather warms up we'll be set. I'm getting tired of the 20 degree mornings... I live in Fla for heaven sake haha! :p

I am so excited to see Jazz doing therapy work! That is such a rewarding ministry. Looks like he's really good at it too.

The children are adorable and look like they are adoring Jazz as well as each other...LOL

I know that neck bite well!! Naughty doggies.

Love the last photo of them!

Yeah I can tell she kind of misses doing it. She gets really really excited to go, more so than just a regular walk, she always seems to know the difference. Then he is super happy and waggy when we get to where we are going. She is ready to climb right into laps and nuzzle hands to be petted. People love that most of the time. I had to stop in 09 b/c the then Cletus the Fetus was giving me such trouble and my DR. said it wasn't a good idea to continue during the flu season. Then it was really not possible with a newborn. Now that he's older he can go and the residents get a kick out of him and the dog. This is only our second visit though since Nicholas has been born, we went to see the veterans on Memorial Day.

LittleRiver - Haha, you are, I think, only the second person to understand her name.

Birdie - Darn, don't say that about her hair! I was just going to wack it all off the top of her head. Several people have mentioned how they like it tied up and now it's starting to grow on me again. LoL.

Hey, is the neck biting play a Poodle thing. My Spoo Leif does that & barks, barks, barks at a dog & then jumps them at the neck. I call it "hen pecking" because he pecks at the necks of other dogs. I went to see my M & D & they have a dog park down the street so we went & that is how he played rough with the dogs. He has to chase whatever dog is running & if they stop then he tries to get them to play by barking & jumping in at them & nipping the neck. Only 1 owner didn't like his play & that was a Doodle puppy owner that brought a 5 month old in. He thought Leif was too rough. Oh, well I was just wondering if this was a Poo trait. My other 2 large dogs are full sisters & they play BUT they grab at the hock & then rip the leg out from under each other. NO, they I don't take because of their rough hock play. I was thinking this was part of their genetic make up. It is weird to see how different breed dogs play.
