First Aid Kit for disasters. Should include?
I live in California. Nothing has happened so far but we should expect a huge earthquake, which seems reasonable since we haven't had a big one.
We have our emergency bag we bought from Costco. For Teddy I have a little first aid kit I bought from Petsmart, which I've pretty much used up.
I want to make one with essentials for like a disaster not only emergencies. But just like when you prepare for a trip you never really know what you need until you are there and you think "Ugh! I need this that and the other." Then you realize you packed things that weren't necessary and forgot things that were essential.
If you have been in a disaster, what did you find useful for your pet?
I will want to buy cans to keep at home in case we are stuck here, but I also want to have a bag I can take with me in case we have to evacuate.
Any suggestions?
Also, I've been consider taking a First aid class for pets. Have any of you taken one?

Fortunately for us the most we are likely to need where we live is a basic first aid kit, but there are good ideas for emergency planning here: Preparing for an Emergency | The Bark

We all should have a prepared kit for our dogs& for us, in todays world you just never know whats going to happen, your going to need money, large bills are no good to you, you need small bills, and change, keep your car allways filled with gas, you can't get gas as many times there is no elect.so no gas, if you have a fire arm (gun) take it with you, people will killyou to get what you have, don't think they wont. Trust only your family. This was brought to you by your United States Air Force. Sorry, trying to keep it light, just no way too.
