Default Daisy & Dude went to the doc for a tune-up today!

I took Daisy (our new rescue) for obvious reasons- just to get a good thorough exam. I took Dude for evaluation of skin issues. The results:

*Daisy-

Negative heartworm and fecal.
Ears flushed well- no infection.

I found a lump above her left hip that they advised removing regardless of whether or not it is benign due to its position. So, on Monday, she is going back bright and early for surgery and a dental cleaning.

*Dude-

A full health panel is being run on him which will check thyroid and indicators of Cushings. This will help to narrow down the cause of his skin issues (dandruff, pimples, and hair thinning on back &tail). If that all returns within-normal-limits then we may do a skin biopsy to check for SA.

So, that's the latest on the dynamic duo. I'll keep you posted on Monday to let you now how things went and what the results of Dude's bloodworm tell us.

Dude's blood work all came back fine. Now to decide if we do a skin biopsy.
