I just thought of something that'll make you husband thinks Afs aren't sissy dogs. Show him pictures of Afghans lure coursing. Better yet, find out if there are any lure cursing trials in your area. It's wicked exciting to watch! Here's a link I found. The same person also posted poodles lure coursing.

No worries about the late reply! I only just now saw the message you sent me. It was so hard to convince my hubby into a "girlie" poodle... I can only imagine his reaction to my saying I want an Affie... lol.

I'm not put off by the amount of brushing, but I've never gotten to have my hands on one to check out what that coat feels like in person. Hopefully one day I'll get to finally get hands on with one, and maybe eventually own one. Thanks for the info!

How goes it with your little Pie? Enjoy the tinyness! My baby is 4.5 mos, and when I groomed him today I realized how HUGE he's gotten. He already looks like a little adult! Where'd my baby go? lol.

I just noticed you have an Affie! I've ALWAYS wanted one, but I've never met one in person. My husband just got me my poodle for Christmas so unfortunately we can't have more than 2 in military housing, plus he says the next dog we get he gets to pick. lol. I would so love to have one, though!

Was she hard to train? I've heard they take forever to potty train. How often do you have to brush her to keep her from matting? Oh and btw, the name Oprah is great!
