Over the weekend I bought a ramp thing so Remi could get on/off the bed by himself. He learned to use it almost instantly! What gave him a second's 'problem' is its on the opposite side of the bed than I use to get on the bed. So I got in bed and he barked like he usually does for me to pick him up and I told him (motioning with my hand) "No you go around and get up" and you could see the gears turning and then he turned and ran to the ramp side of the bed!

Last night I took a small plastic stool and set it by the coffee table. I then put some treats close to the edge of the coffee table, with Remi watching me. Within seconds he was up on the stool getting the treats off the table. Then I moved the stool to several other places and put treats a little higher up so Remi would have to use the stool again to get the treats. By the third time, he jumped right on the stool immediately after I put it down!
