I agree!
Some people... yep they still have dial up... and large siggys take forever... um... not because i'm speaking from expierence or anything... lol.
I can't have high speed this far north... boo!
But i do love siggys!

We have decided to allow signatures and we will work on implementing it. However, as some of you already mentioned, we will have to put in some rules for siggys because even with high speed internet, it's frustrating to read through a thread when most of the users have posted a one-liner but you have to scroll through multiple pages because the users have enormous images in their signature.

Also, I would NOT get in the habit of making comparisons of PF to any of our other pet sites. This is why:

- many of the sites we manage had many of the features you see in place prior to us transitioning in; same goes with rules of the community; as the admin on those sites, I have done very little to alter what they community was use to;

- on the flip side, there are things that are allowed here on PF that would not fly on some of our pet sites; I have seen it and the mods and I have accepted that it's part of the sub culture of THIS community; imagine how PF would react if I started importing some of the rules from our other pet sites....

Please don't take this in the wrong way. I'm not upset at all. I just wanted to make sure that there is no misunderstandings should we ever say "no" to something you guys request and you see it on one of our other sites. I want everyone to see the big picture.

This is also not to suggest that you guys shouldn't make requests... by all means, please continue to do so because that's what we're here for.

I'll get working on the signature implementation.

there is a forum i post on that has rules about the size of the siggies.

we have like 5-6kmembers and the signatures aren't too big and don't take forever to load.

Testinggggggg

Well that seems rather large. (... O.o did cs4 LIE TO ME?!)
EDIT: fixed... for anyone that wants to know, it is 450x187 px. Using the max allowed height and width was much too large!
