Windows 8 RT slow?
Has anyone tried viewing and posting to the forum with a Windows 8 RT tablet yet? I'm playing around with my new Xmas toy, and boy is this site slooooow. Threads wouldn't finish loading at all until I saved my password instead of trying to view the threads as a guest. I think eliminating the advertising by logging in helped. Now it's a 50/50 chance whether I get the thread to load or I just get a blank screen. Clicking on refresh seems to get the thread to load if I do get the blank screen.
Sites like Amazon.com, wsj.com, and proboards seem to load ok on the RT tablet. Poodle forum loads fine on my XP laptop. |
