I still seem to have only one point even though I have done things that should have given points, such as having a completed profile and an album. Please clarify.

U may have scored points simply for starting a thread. Or how many times u are Thanked for a post may have something to do with yr point count . . . and maybe yr number of posts.

I dunno, really. The mods keep taking points away from me every time I get Warned. lol

Points have no bearing on what you can do or cannot do on this site... I know this isn't what you asked but in case anyone is worried about not having enough points or having too many points.

No, that doesn't really answer my question. I know it doesn't have any bearing on what I can do, I am just interested in understanding the back story here so an explanation of how it works would be appreciated.

Just a few clues that might help all of us with inquisitive minds figure out the points-added system of the Poodle Forum:

First, find one of your posts that has your user name and avatar.
Click on your user name.
You will see several options listed below your user name to click on, such as, view public profile, send a private message..., find more posts.. experience, level up, activity---and go ALL THE WAY to the bottom of the list where it says, "Ranking Shop."

Click on "Ranking Shop" and then on "Earn Points" and you will see a few clues as to how points are earned.
