my profile pic and signature aren't showing up - Poodle Forum - Standard Poodle, Toy Poodle, Miniature Poodle Forum ALL Poodle owners too!

was just wondering if i was doing something wrong. it shows up if i try to change it but it won't show on my posts

Are you sure it's the correct size? Sometimes it looks like it's saved but actually won't because the file is too large. Also, make sure you hit the "save changes" button or whatever at the bottom of the page. I managed to upload mine a few times and kept forgetting to hit save. LOL

I just checked your profile. You do have a Profile Pic. If you want it to show under your name on posts, you need to insert it as your AVATAR PICTURE, and not your Profile Pic. I hope that helps!

NOTE: Make sure you click the button near the top that says "Do not use avatar" at the top and then below, select "Use Custom Avatar." I know it sounds counterproductive to do the first, but it's what you need to do in order to use a customized avi.

Midge0413, I just checked your profile on the moderator panel and you do not have any signature saved at all. It's blank... And I'll second Rowan's observation that you do not have an avatar photo saved. It can be the same picture as your profile picture or you can choose a different one.

Let me know if you still have problems after you add a signature and avatar. Thanks!

I use "edit avatar" to change the profile pic. Choose file and then save changes. It will upload itself.

The signature pic shows at the bottom of the post, go to "edit signature", "choose file", "upload" and "save changes". You don't have to click on anything else.

I know I had a time trying to post album pictures in the beginning. I was missing something to click on, but no one knew what it was..then after a while I was able to. Somehow the mods fixed it, but I never found out what the problem was.

Great Signature; I have tried several times to create and save a photo signature, but to no avail. I don't have PhotoShop, so working with something less sophisticated; hopefully I will get it figured out at some point.

I used Photobucket to put my signature together. It's free, you just have to open an account and upload your pictures there - then you can create a signature banner. Good luck!!
