I just found out!
Go to where all the different threads are, at the bottom of all the threads,
you will find a button to press, then write your thread.

Sorry,I might not of explained this clearly.

"Poodle Health" is probably the category you want. The "new thread" bar is on the top left hand side.

Default Help!

I do not have a "New Thread" button to push. I have checked every page, in many forums, both in the upper left as some have said I will find it, as well as at the bottom of the page where others have said I will find it. I read that a person needs to post something in the new member introductions area before they can post, and I did that days or weeks ago. I am able to respond to the threads of others, but cannot create my own. I am about ready to just call it quits with this website because it just shouldn't be this hard. Can anyone help? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for anything you can offer.

I can't offer help, but I can validate your problem. Sometimes I find the new thread button is on the top left, sometimes on the bottom left, sometimes not anywhere at all. Sometimes you can find it if you keep changing your choice of forums, but not always...weird.

Cool

Thanks for the validation! At least I know I'm not crazy! I'll keep looking and hoping.

If you are using the ipad app you can't start new threads.
In the browser click on Poodle Forum Com at the top left of the page. When the list of the forums appears, choose Poodle Health. When that list appears, go down to the bottom of the page at on the left the is an oblong button that says New Tread. Click that, and away you go. Good luck.

Could it be your browser, or browser settings? I would try deleting all cookies, then restart the browser and log in again.

The route I take to create a new thread is:
Click on the Poodleforum.com button, top left on the home page
Click on the relevant discussion area from the list that comes up
Click on the New Thread button, which for me is on the left above the Threads in Forum banner, and repeated again below the list of threads, again on the left.

Even further down the page is a list of Posting Rules, that should tell you whether you have permission to post or not. But as you have been able to start this thread, I would have expected it to be possible to start one in other areas of the forum!

What browser are you using? This works in Camino on OSX.

Aha - cross posted with Qarza - iPad app sounds a very possible explanation!

Does this screenshot help? I put two red arrows around the button on the top of the page. And there is a llama because its a LLAMA! How cool is that?
