This has to be the most bizarre post on this forum!!?!!!
I love this forum for all the help and support it has given me and in return I try my best to impart my bitsy knowledge on to others; especially to newbie puppy owners making all the same mistakes I did too. Most of the time it makes me chuckle or squeal and giggle in delight at the funny stories and cute picture. This the enduring thought I have in my mind with this forum (yes post more poodle pics, I love seeing them!) and what makes me come back again and again.
Yes, there is healthy debate and at times wide spectrum of opinions. At times that can be good too as helps a better understanding of various opinions. I'm open to idea that others thoughts may change my mind in seeing things. This has helped me correct a lot of my errors in raising Harry and hopefully keeping poochy happy and content
As a personal note I am offended at any suggestion that based on nationality, or any thing else for that matter, that a single group of people are less than civil. Some People are meaner and some people are nicer ; but lets not generalise.
If offended any post, then in my head I saw "twat" then blank them out my head. Will not waste my energy. If posts are really offensive then report them. That's what reporting is about.
As a poodle lover who reads this forum regularly but posts infrequently, I don't mind the bluntness. I get it that some people are naturally more direct and say what they mean. If something comes across the wrong way to me, I'm fine with ignoring it or responding as I see fit.
OP's comment, "I do think some people should take lessons in diplomacy" sounds condescending. Maybe he doesn't mean it to be, but my point is, posting on the internet can be tricky! Also, the pyschology degree doesn't make think I should take OP more seriously than anybody else. :/ But that's just me.
I prefer forums where people feel free to be themselves.

Well that escalated quickly.
I thought everyone's replies were sincere and basically trying to say that if you continue to stay on the forums long enough you'll realize the good posts outweigh the "rude" ones. Kind of like you have 20 eggs and 15 eggs picked were bad whereas If you have 300 eggs but you picked 15 bad ones. Puts things in perspective bc in the latter example you've.obviously experienced.more good than bad whereas with a smaller sample you might have experienced the bad more frequently.
I'm sure no one here meant to insult you but you sort of pulling the "country" card did offend me a little bc though we have different cultures, we all can learn to be open minded and courteous in regard to other culture beliefs and mannerisms
Also you can't generalize saying my country stands up to bullies. You can't do that because somewhere in the UK is someone getting bullied and no one standing up for him or her. Like that poor dog lennox who died bc he looked like a pit bull. The govt did nothing and let the world's cry and plea to let the innocent dog go was ignored and the dog died. That's bully and ignorance to me and it was in Dublin. So really, do not make these generalizations abut ppl countries dogs and etc.
