Hello from a Poodle Owner (Maybe?)
Name is Will. Currently living in Virginia. Girlfriend and I rescued what we were told was a Poodle/Poodle Mix from the humane society this summer. She was in pretty rough shape, but she warmed up to us immediately. Took a lot of work to desensitize her from being terrified from dogs, and thankfully she has. Real cute watching her chase other dogs.
Thing is, we are constantly asked what breeder we went through for our Portuguese Water Dog. To be honest, I have a hard time distinguishing Poodles, Labradoodles, Portuguese Water Dogs, and other water dogs from one another. I may go ahead and get one of those dog DNA tests, but I'm not very familiar with how to go about with that and whether or not they are even reliable. I've attached a few photos. I can't seem to be able to get her to hold her tail still when taking a photo, but I attached one on how she carries her tail (curled over the back). It is undocked.
Maybe an undocked moyen Poodle? No clue. However, if she is a poodle I'm looking forward to learning more about the breed.
So, hello from a fellow poodle owner (maybe).

Hi. Really hard to tell whether poodle or water dog. I am thinking water dog because her tail is undocked but lots of poodles have intact tales. Her nose looks poodle. Doesn't matter as she is gorgeous.

I don't know what breed or mix she is, but she is one smashing little dog! Welcome to the forum!

Looks pretty poodley to me! No matter..she's very cute!
I had my Molly's DNA done.... results were really interesting!
When people ask me what she is, I say "Loved" Hahaha!
So glad to hear when another rescue is saved!
