adopted a spoo!
I am so excited! I went to check out a breeder who has a litter coming in February which I was interested in and ended up adopting a 6 year old female. Funny; I thought I wanted a red & white but something about this silver sable girl just won me over. Such a sweet thing she is.

I don't think "silver sable" is technically a term for poodle colors, however there are those that believe that silver coloring is actually a result (or at least CAN be a result) of the same genes that cause sabling, thus having a similar effect, different color. But, those poodles are generally just called "silver" and it's kind of the mainstream thought that silvers are a "double dilute" of black (with blue being a "single" dilute).
Color genetics aren't completely understood in poodles, though, so its open for speculation. I'm sure she's absolutely gorgeous, can't wait to see some photos!
