New Member - Ollie
Hi - am writing on behalf of Ollie, our almost eight month old black standard. We live in New York City and Ollie spends his time searching high and low for friends (of any breed but especially poodles) to wrestle with. He just learned how to catch a ball off a bounce! We are interested in information about boarding, health issues, training and agility.

Welcome Ollie, you will learn a lot as well as make some wonderful friends. I cannot imagine having a spoo in the city...is it difficult and where do you have to bring him to potty???? I was in New Orleans last summer and met a few folks who have dogs in the french quarter....they had a five block walk to find grass as their great danes would only do their business on grass. We have a few members in CT if you want to come this side of the Hudson, it would be great to have a meet up of poodles.

Hi, I am also new to this forum. My 10 month old black Standard is named Walter, and we live in Central New York. Walter is the first Poodle we've ever had, and my husband and I have fallen in love with this smart, funny character. I am looking forward to learning more and sharing stories with other Poodle lovers here

Welcome to you and Ollie. I am on Long Island. Lily and I do obedience, rally and agility.
I don't know too much about places in Manhattan for training, but I can suggest Staten Island Companion Dog Training Club (obedience and agility), Port Chester Obedience Training Club (obedience and agility, in White Plains), Suffolk Obedience Training Club (in Deer Park, my club) and Doggie U in Bay Shore (for agility).
