Greetings, poodleforum!

Many of you have probably seen my dad (LEUllman, I think) post about our prince of the house, Beau. I used to look over his shoulder as he browed the forum on his ipad, but I went off to college in September. My family foiled my plan to sneak him into the dorm disguised as a pillow, so needless to say I've missed my baby dearly. I thought I'd finally make my own account so I could look at more poodle pictures as an attempted coping mechanism. :')

I've also been coping by working poodles into as much of my coursework as possible. I wrote a poem about Beau for my writing class, and my Human Genome professor approved my research topic of the Poodle Genome, instead. (I think I'm going to focus on coat colors, specifically. But we'll see what sources I can find.)

If there are any other college students on here, are any of you guilty of writing about poodles all the time?

I can't wait to meet you all! I'm excited to receive my Poodle Forum calendar in January. My flatmates will laugh at me-- they've also discovered my poodle obsession-- but, well, we need a calendar.

remster!! You must know Beau has an "A+" rating among the membership, and I'm sure your grades follow suit. Your separation from him must be really tough, but oh how happy your reunions must be! So nice to see you here. Now go hit the books, and come back later for more "poodle looks." (And about that lipstick on a poodle story, I think we need to hear your sister's version of it too!)

Do you have any local poodles you could visit and play with? (Sorry, um, I meant, USE IN YOUR RESEARCH???) It is amazing how it's often harder to leave the family pets than the family....

Sorry you miss Beau so much, but I bet he's proud of you!(just like I bet your Dad is!) Take heart! Xmas vacation is coming! In the meantime you can rant here and we'll try to console you..... And don't forget to let us know how the Genome paper goes cuz color seems to be a big topic here!


P.S. Perhaps Dad can send you an 'Beau scented' blankie to cuddle with!

I took an evolution class..all my papers were on poodles >.> they're very easy to write about
