After reading the forum for more than a few months, I finally registered.

I'm totally smitten and ruled by a 2 year old black mini named Andy.

I had an inkling this would happen to me, but my husband was totally caught off guard by how much he loves this little guy. We've had him since February when he became available from his owner who realized The Pood just wasn't into toddlers - she had two little ones. After interviewing us, hearing we'd just lost our ancient terrier mix, and our only child was a college junior, she decided to adopt him to us.

Since then, the little man has brought such joy into our lives. He occasionally goes to work with me (I'm a librarian) or my husband. He's become a most awesome horse show dog, traveling with me, hanging with the ponies, and behaving himself at the hotel. When not traveling with us, he hangs with our ever tolerant cat, Noodle. Bless you Noodle for accepting Andy's bizarre displays of affection - gently holding your leg in his mouth.

So, that's us. The happiest Poodle People in all the Carolinas.
