Hi, everyone! My husband and I got a mini puppy in March, and I've basically been viewing the forum daily since then. I just brought him home from the groomer's and he looked so pretty that I just wanted to share my pictures with SOMEONE! So I thought, why don't I finally sit down and register for the Poodle Forum?? So here I am!

I'm so glad you and your freshly groomed mpoo decided to join us. Lazlo looks terrific!! I just love a dapper looking mini boy, and he sure is that. How old is he? BTW, I live in NJ too--still dealing with the aftermath of Super Storm Sandy (no power, still using our generator). Hope you and your mpoo made out okay. Enjoy the forum, I hope you'll upload more photos soon.

Here are the best of the pictures I took of today's groom! I'd have done more, but he looks so much worse with the flash that I thought I'd wait until tomorrow and (hopefully) some natural light. (I included one slightly out-of-focus shot, just because he looks so dramatic!)

Thanks for asking how we're doing, Chagall's Mom! We lost power for four days. The first two, I sewed and finished my homework. On days three and four - when the boredom and malaise started setting in - dog training! I'm teaching Laszlo how to catch...he's getting better and better. By the way, Laszlo is 10 months old. Also, one good thing about the storm is that my husband and I did the ultimate proofing of pooping and peeing on command! In retrospect, taking the dog out during a once-in-a-century storm might not have been the best judgment, but if Laszlo will poop on command in the midst of a superstorm, he'll do it anywhere!

Thanks so much for the welcome, liljaker! Aren't minis great? I didn't even know that the miniature variety existed before my husband and I decided to get a dog! It's like some breed-wide, middle-child syndrome!

I look for ANY excuse to post pictures of Sunny......he is due for a groom Saturday, so consider this his "before" --- yes, minis are great and I have been owned by them for 30 years!!!

Welcome! I too am a former lurker! You're encouraged to share with everyone here about anything!!! So glad to hear you & yours are getting thru the awful weather.. keep warm! Lazlo looks so handsome I really wanna say pretty but boys aren't supposed to be pretty so.... Is he your 'empty nest child'?

LegalEagle: Good to hear you weathered the storm okay, and really impressive to hear Laszlo went outside to do his business in it!! You've got bragging rights there. He's a bold 10 month old! My guy is three and he's very "house clean" so he and I also braved the elements, something like you I now question the wisdom of doing. I really like how Laszlo is groomed, he looks very well put together. His ears are wonderful, so fluffy and full. And his open, trusting mpoo expression is adorable. Keep that camera of yours handy!!
