Chagall's Mom said: I really like how Laszlo is groomed, he looks very well put together.
Thanks so much! Lots of the credit goes to his groomer out in Belleville, who is fantastic. Our vet says that Laszlo is one of the best-groomed dogs he treats. Currently, he's just in a kennel clip, but I have been thinking about something a little different, maybe growing out his coat a little and doing something like your Chagall's clip (is that a Miami?).

Thanks for the welcome! I was thinking about how much I benefit from other people's questions and comments. There is so much knowledge on this forum, and I'm so happy to be here! My husband and I both had some experience with dogs as kids, but we're first-time dog owners, and I'm completely sold on poodles!

Hee hee! Laszlo could be considered our empty-nest child, but not in the way most people think! My husband and I have been married three years, and the average of our ages is 32. About a year ago, we looked around and everyone we knew seemed to be having babies! Well, it seemed a bit early for a baby (the whole one-bedroom apartment thing!), but NOT too early for a puppy! And despite being rest-broken for weeks, cleaning up puddles and having our furniture gnawed on by needle-sharp teeth, getting a poodle was one of the best decisions we've made as a couple!

Sunny looks even MORE like a rock-star after grooming, maybe because his bell-bottoms are more pronounced! You've got one cool dude there!

A question about color
Also, where should I post pictures of Laszlo, if I want to put them in the Poodle Rainbow? With apricots or reds? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum - and to the world of miniature poodles
We live in NJ too. We adopted Lily 5 months ago and she has been keeping us on our toes ever since. Laszlo is very handsome. I look forward to hearing and seeing more of him.

The fun of styling poodle hair is endless, you're going to love it! Yes, in my siggie Chagall is in the start of his first Miami trim. I let the bracelets get longer and rounded them out. I love how they emphasized and framed his prancing!!
