My dear Spoo is named Angel. She is adjusting to her new home, as I have just recently adopted her. She is a 6 year old Standard Poodle. I just brought her home last Sunday, so we are busy getting settled in and learning all about each other. I thought that I would join in the fun here to learn anything that might be different from the Mpoos that I had since I was young. My Mpoo crossed the Rainbow Bridge in June and I really missed the companionship of my baby.So enter Angel. She is my first Spoo and I am hooked! She has all of the personality traits that I loved in my Mpoo and is even calmer than my beloved Peaches. And since I live in the country, she is of a size to keep up with me on my runs.

I have been working on changing her from a bag kibble to homemade food. She is a bit underweight and I think she will do better. I was told she was on Pedigree, but while I have kept some down at all times for her, she just hasn't been interested. I kept my other baby on homemade so for me it was a logical decision. Normally I would not have changed her diet so quickly, but I wanted her to eat. She seems to be doing well on it, as she has eaten everything I have given her, except the fish and the Pedigree.

Anyway, I am looking forward to meeting other friendly Poo owners and share info and hints and a few giggles about our babies.

I adopted my spoo from a family that had to move into a much smaller place, and were both working loooong hours. They decided they needed to find a new home for one of their two standard spoos.
They placed their female up for adoption and and I was lucky enough to get angel. I know that working from home and having had other Poos in the past was a big factor in their choosing me for this Blessing. And blessing it is! I did rename her, as she was named Pumkin, which for me she really didn't respond. But when I called her Angel, she got all excited! So Angel she is and always will be for me. She has been the best thing for me since my Mpoo named Peaches crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I had a Poo shaped hole and it was so big it took this wonderful Spoo to fill it. :D

I will get pictures on here as soon as I figure out how to get them from my phone to here.

Thanks for the welcomes! Yes having a new Poo is a wonderful blessing. I am learning more about my new baby everyday. Falling deeper in Poodle Love. :D
