Hi fellow poodle lovers! :D
Well, a guess a little about myself...
I'm 21, a senior in college studying marketing and economics. I have grown up (for the past 16 years) with an apricot toy poodle, which was my mom's dog, and it finally came the time to get my own! I tried for a couple of weeks to adopt a dog from the local shelter, but every time I'd find one, someone else would adopt them! So, I found a good breeder, and got the exact dog and color I really wanted. So, here is is! His name is Jeffrey!  Well, I know he doesn't have the dark nose, or dark eyes, but I thought he was precious anyway. He is AKC registered though! |

 He looks like a muppet right now with that long hair.. I just want to wait to take him until he gets used to his new home and me. He is a standard poodle! And thank you I loved his eyes too! But after a little bit of research, I found that most people don't like the lighter eyes.. hmmm

That is just breed standard -- especially if you are showing him. See poodle breed standard for eyes:
Eyes-- very dark, oval in shape and set far enough apart and positioned to create an alert intelligent expression. Major fault: eyes round, protruding, large or very light. However, it won't be a fault for you since those eyes soon will provide you with such love and attention it won't matter -- unless you were going to show him! Beautiful!
