Question Signatures once in a thread?

other forums i've been on only attach signatures the first time someone posts in an individual thread.

i love that. it reduces clutter and the size of lengthy threads.

can we possibly make that change here?

I personally like to see the signatures with each post. JMO.

Maybe it could be an option whether or not to see sigs and pics for those who dont like it or have slow internet connections. I have to go with the majoity tho- I love all the stuff and wish there was more smilies though. Dog ones.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll investigate to see if it is a possibility for users to choose in their own profile. Right now, the signature rules for PF help quite a bit to ensure that threads are filled mainly with pictures from a user's signature.

And besides, KK... yr 'Cookies' tag makes me smile every time I see it. Love fp's 'Line Drying' one too!

I think optional would be a good idea, if it's easily implemented. If it's one or the other, I'd vote to keep them in, since that's the only way I know who's posting, lol. I rarely ever look at the username/profile picture, especially if I'm on my phone, the screen simply isn't wide enough so instead of scrolling left/right to find out who posted what, I just recognize the sig under the post.

I had a signature for a while and got tired of seeing it every time I posted so removed it. I like the idea of a sig the first post, but not in the rest of the thread. Avatars, on the other hand, I like in every post (like artic fox' cute snow muzzle puppy). Then I know right away who's posting. I have a fast internet connection, so that isn't an issue.
