Thank you, Big Red Poodle. You are so right, epilepsy is not easy to live with. I am so sorry you had to go through it with your setter. Thank heavens it no longer has the degrading stigma attached to it that it once had. However, every once in awhile someone will say "I heard your big black poodle has 'fits'!" I could choke them for their ignorance. In the most haughty voice I can muster, I reply "No, he has epileptic seizures about twice a year!"

I was not apologizing to the people who attacked me, I was apologizing to the rest of you who had to live through all that unpleasantness because of me.

It takes all kinds to make a world.

Yes it does Tux ! I feel for you. The seizures horrified my children, and upset them so.. It was really heartbreaking.. I am so sorry that you have to go through this. And because of you putting the info on PHR perhaps no one else will have to.. Bless. you...
